Voyage(r): Tourist Map to Japan (2000) was influenced by a trip Sligh took to Japan.  Historical circumstances surrounding America’s decision to drop the Atomic Bomb and the ramifications of that decision resonated for the artist as she traveled through the city of Hiroshima as an American.

The book, 144 pages of duotones, was smythe sewn and offset printed on Mohawk Options paper. It’s soft cover is encased in a lined cloth pouch. The 7 1/4 x 5 inch edition of 800 was produced at Nexus Press, Atlanta, Georgia.
