Hiroshima, Hopes & Dreams (1996-1997) is a collection of seven 12"x9"x3" books concerning the artist’s personal experiences with love, loss and mourning. This one of a kind set is in the collection of the University of Vermont.

The book covers are black Kozo paper wrapped around red Canson paper. They are stab bound and trimmed with Yuzen paper. Inside the books, each page is composed of ink brushwork on Arches hot press paper that is covered with 100% rag vellum on which photographs and text are photocopied. The books are in a portfolio case made of red book cloth that is then wrapped in a black cloth.
